Life Verse 1

#LifeVerse 1

#LifeVerse 1: “Those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.” {Roman 8:29}

Look yourself in the mirror and prophesy this to yourself.

Don’t argue with God! Proclaim this over yourself!

You are predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus! Let His Spirit loose within you, and you will become more and more like Him as you walk with Him!

I guarantee you it will change the way you look at yourself.  I know because it happened to me about forty years ago!  I began to believe that my destiny is to be like Jesus.

I have not yet arrived, but I am more like Him today than I was when I first saw this truth.

Blessings,

Blessings On Your Day!

IMG_8792

Was reading through portions of Hebrews this morning, slowly, carefully, prayerfully.

When I came to Hebrews 6:7, I began to be thankful for all of you who have been good soil, who “drink in the rain often falling on” you, and are “producing a crop” useful for the kingdom.

“For the land that soaks up frequent rains and then brings forth a crop useful to its owners receives a blessing from God..” (Hebrews 6:7)

According to this verse, you are marked to receive “the blessing of God.”

Yes and amen!

In abundance!

Be blessed!

Even if everything is not going as you would desire!

Be blessed outrageously!

May the Lord put His hand on your head and bless you!

May you walk in joy and peace and love throughout the day!

Blessings,

Purim – A Day to Celebrate God’s Faithfulness

Image

Purim – Adar 14 – March 16 this year – A Day to Celebrate God’s Faithfulness

Over and over through the centuries, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have been targeted for annihilation. Over and over again, God has supernaturally stepped in to save them. Every generation has its Haman(s) – world rulers who persecute and even kill the Jewish people. Zechariah tells us that the last great world upheaval will be Satan’s final attempt to destroy Israel – international leaders will turn against Jerusalem (See Zechariah 14).

But God has a different plan!

That’s why we celebrate Purim. That’s why we boo and drown out the name of Haman, cheer Mordechai, celebrate Esther, and hail King Ahasuerus when their names are called during the reading of the book of Esther. That’s why we throw a party to celebrate God’s faithfulness to see that eventually good always wins over evil.

Perhaps the most famous quote from the small book of Esther comes from Mordechai’s warning to Esther, who was a bit reluctant to risk her own life and go to the King. “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” (Emphasis mine.)

What are the messages to learn from Esther and Purim?

*Each of us is important for the plan of God in our day.

*We will endanger others if we do not stand strong in the Lord.

*No power will thwart the ultimate purpose of God.

*Righteousness eventually wins; God will prevail.

Why are you in the kingdom? What does God to do through you? You will never experience the depth of contentment or joy until you yield to His call!

Have a blessed Purim!
